BACKGROUND
Active Cooperation between Reunion and Tianjin
Since 2003, Reunion Island has initiated a cooperation with Tianjin Municipality, formalized by an agreement. SR21 has been appointed key partner to represent this cooperation and is involved in business exchange.
This is why, in June 2008, SR21 opened a representative office in Tianjin, China. Our objective, based on the close links we have with China, is to increase the exchanges between Reunion Island and China by offering a support to companies in Reunion Island in their development project in China but also by promoting Reunion Island to potential Chinese investors.

Our assignment is to develop relationships in China, particularly in Tianjin, where a cooperation agreement between the Municipality and Reunion Region was signed in 2003. All of our actions have a common interest: Our main mission is to promote Reunion Island competences and know how in China and help our companies to develop their activities. As a government body and representing Reunion Island, we aim at promoting our tourism market and investment opportunities. |
